Terms of Service
Effective from the date you first use Hudoori. Last updated 6 September 2026.
These terms govern your use of Hudoori, a service that records and verifies employee attendance. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Where a clause protects us, it says so; where it protects you, it says that too.
In these terms, "Hudoori" or "we" means the provider of the service, and "you" or "the company" means the organisation that opens an account and whose employees check in through it.
1. What the service is
Hudoori records when an employee arrives at and leaves a workplace, and records the evidence that supports each of those records: where the phone was, whether the request arrived over the workplace's own internet connection, and whether a code displayed at the workplace was scanned. It scores that evidence and presents the result to the managers you nominate.
Hudoori is not a payroll system, a human-resources platform, or a legal record of employment. It produces an attendance record. What you do with that record — including any decision about pay, discipline or employment — is yours, and clause 7 says what that means.
2. Your account, and who may use it
An account is opened for one company. You nominate an owner, and the owner may create manager and HR accounts. Each account belongs to one person; sharing a sign-in between people defeats every audit record in the system and is not permitted.
You are responsible for who you give access to and for what they do with it. If you believe an account has been compromised, tell us and change the password; we will end that account's other sessions.
Employees join by sending a code you give them to the Telegram bot and sharing their contact. You are responsible for telling your employees that their attendance is being recorded and on what basis — see clause 7.
3. The trial
A new company gets seven days of the full product. No payment method is asked for and nothing is charged. At the end of the trial the account stops accepting new check-ins until a subscription is agreed; your data is not deleted at that point, and clause 9 governs what happens if you walk away.
4. Price and payment
The price is published on the site and depends on how many employees check in and how many workplaces you register. It is agreed with you before the subscription starts, and the agreed figure is what applies for that term regardless of any later change to the published price.
Payment is manual: InstaPay, bank transfer, or cash. No card is stored and nothing is charged automatically. A subscription does not renew by itself — we tell you before a term ends, and it continues when you decide it does.
If a payment is not made, we will tell you before anything stops. An unpaid account is suspended, not erased: your record stays intact and readable for the period in clause 9.
5. What we undertake
- To keep the service available, and to tell you when it is not.
- To record every attendance event exactly as it arrived, on our clock, and never to alter one afterwards.
- To keep a daily backup of your data, and to have tested restoring it.
- To tell you within a reasonable time if your data is exposed in a security incident, and to tell you what was exposed rather than that "an incident occurred".
- Not to sell your data, your employees' data, or anything derived from it, to anybody, for any purpose.
- Not to use your data to train machine-learning models.
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We are a small provider on shared infrastructure, and we would rather say that plainly than publish a number we cannot honour.
6. What you undertake
- To use the service for recording the attendance of people you actually employ or engage.
- Not to register a workplace you have no right to register, and not to record the attendance of somebody who has not been told they are being recorded.
- Not to attempt to access another company's data, to probe or attack the service, or to use it to build a competing product.
- To keep the contact details on your account current, because that is where everything important is sent.
7. Who is responsible for the record
You are the controller of your employees' personal data. We are the processor. In plain terms: it is your record, held by us on your instruction. You decide who is recorded, which workplaces exist, which verification methods are on, and who can see the result.
That also means the obligations that come with recording people are yours: telling your employees, having a lawful basis, and answering their requests about their own data. We give you the tools to do it — every employee can see their own record and the evidence behind every day of it — but we cannot do it for you.
8. What the record is, and is not
Every attendance event is append-only. Nothing in the system edits one. A correction is a new event that names who made it and why, and the original stays beside it. This is deliberate, and it is the point of the product.
A score is evidence, not a verdict. Hudoori tells you how strongly a day is supported by the signals available at that workplace on that client. It does not decide whether somebody was present, and it does not decide whether they should be paid. A signal that could not be checked is recorded as unavailable, never as a failure — and a day may score low for reasons that have nothing to do with the person, such as a workplace with no registered connection or a phone on mobile data. Any decision you take about a person on the basis of a Hudoori record is your decision.
9. Ending it
You can close your account at any time, from the product or by telling us.
When an account closes, you have 90 days to export your record. Export is available in the product throughout that period. After it, everything we hold for that company — attendance events, derived days, devices, employee records — is erased automatically. The erasure is recorded, and it cannot be undone.
We may close an account for non-payment after telling you, or immediately for a serious breach of clause 6. The same 90-day export window applies either way, except where a breach makes that unlawful.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Egyptian law.
Otherwise, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and specifically not for decisions you take about a person on the basis of a record — clause 8 explains why.
11. Changes to these terms
We will tell you before these terms change, by email to the address on your account, at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account and clause 9 applies.
We do not change a price mid-term.
12. Law
These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Where these terms exist in both Arabic and English, and the two disagree, the Arabic version governs.
